Experienced. Licensed. Supportive.

My name is Amy Martella, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am an avid San Francisco 49ers fan, and I enjoy being outside with my husband, son, and our goofy dog, Remy. I also enjoy eating delicious food, spending time with friends and family, watching anything true crime-related, reading, and traveling to new places.

I knew that being a therapist was what I wanted to do from the time I was in high school. I always seemed to be the one my friends and family came to talk to! So, I knew that I not only wanted to help people, but it was something I had the ability to do. As I worked on my education and then started my work with clients, I realized it is more than just helping
others. It is the resiliency of us as people and seeing clients bravely stepping outside their comfort zone and into change and growth that is so exciting and fulfilling. I love working with adolescents and adults - getting to know them, seeing their sense of humor, strengths, passions, and goals. I feel truly blessed to accompany my clients on this journey and
grateful that they invite me to join them.

I received my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and completed my internship with Island Behavioral Health in Oak Harbor, Washington. I see clients locally in my office in Warrensburg, MO and via telehealth across Missouri.
